LOOKING UP

Pandemic, viruses, and vaccinations. Hot topics of late. As a dad, I’m focused on some injections and inoculations of my own. First, I want to pump my children with the truth of God’s word (“…and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” John 8:32). Overdose them on it, as it were. Those injections do double duty as well. They inoculate my children from the lies of the enemy (John 8:44). Sure, this isn’t an exact science, and we’ll need regular truth booster shots. This sin pandemic isn’t going away until the Great Physician returns.

Yet, are you overrun with godly counsel in your life? Do you suffer from too much wise input and sincere correction? Probably not. Perhaps, within this list, you’ll find some keys to help you unlock the hidden wisdom from men around you. Here are 5 mistakes you’re making in finding mentors as a dad.

These verses should give us confidence. God predicted social media and verbal strife isn’t a new thing. Take heart!
