Check-in for the sleepover begins at 6 p.m.

Yes, you can! Do you have more than one son? Do you have a nephew or neighbor? Perfect! Bring him along! Just remember two things: 1) each attendee must have a ticket and 2) if you bring a boy who’s not your own son, he’ll need to bring a signed release form from his parents or guardians. Please pay close attention when you’re registering. Also, there’s a maximum of three children per dad or chaperone. If you have four sons, pick your three favorites.

You can use the main entrance to Museum of the Bible at 400 4th St. SW where you will pass through the security checkpoint. If driving, you can pull up and unload curbside on Virginia Ave SW or D St. SW.

Yes, all meals and snacks are included at this event. You won’t go hungry. We promise!

Special diets can be accommodated. Please be sure to specify any allergies when you register.

Parking is limited around the museum. You have two basic options. First, you could park overnight at a Metro station and take a train in close to the Museum (Green, Blue and Silver lines have overnight parking and stops very close to the Museum. Learn more here). Second, there are some nearby garages where you can safely and easily park overnight. Apps like SpotHero and Parking Panda are helpful for booking parking spots. There are associated fees.

Check-in is from 6 to 6:30 p.m. in the Lobby at the main entrance. Registrants will need to give the name under which the reservation was made. The email you get after registering is your ticket, please bring it with you.

Dinner will be served at the beginning of the evening. It will include pizza, soda, and water. Evening snacks will be provided as well. Breakfast will include muffins, juice, and water. All food and drinks other than water must be consumed in the Multipurpose Room or surrounding Mezzanine. Food or other beverages cannot be consumed in the Lobby or throughout the rest of the museum.

No outside food or beverage will be allowed unless a guest has food allergies or specific dietary needs. Food brought in must be nonperishable and labeled with the guest’s name.

There will be ample staff members present to attend to illness and other circumstances. Any special medical needs should be noted upon arrival.

Yes, participants may leave early if needed. However, all participants from the group must leave unless another adult from the party remains with the children. No children may be left without an adult chaperone.

Restrooms are available on the same level as the Lobby adjacent to the sleeping area.

The sleepover ends on Saturday, August 17 at 8am.

Museum of the Bible has security officers inside the building 24 hours a day. However, we highly recommend you leave your valuables at home or keep them with you. Manhood Journey and Museum of the Bible do not take responsibility for lost or stolen items.

  • Running and yelling are not permitted in the museum.
  • The chaperone must stay with his or her children throughout the entire event. Chaperones are responsible for the behavior of their group.
