About Rodney Navey

Rodney is the Family Ministries Pastor at Calvary Church in Charlotte. With over 30 years of ministry experience, he believes the key to healthy churches is healthy families. In his current role, he has developed and implemented a strategy to equip husbands, wives, and parents for their ministry at home. His responsibilities include discipling men, leading the Executive Pastoral Team, teaching Bible studies, encouraging and equipping staff members, and preaching as needed. He received the Doctor of Ministry degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Rodney is married to Donna and they have 4 adult children (Josh, Mark, Jacob, Gloria) who are all married and serve on staff at churches in North Carolina; he also has 9 grandchildren.
